On 16 November 2020 we put out an appeal for any medieval Anstey enthusiasts who had access to the Bodleian Library in Oxford University to obtain for us ‘Dodsworth Manuscripts’ Volume Four page 21, on which was drawn a pedigree of the sub-branch of the medieval Ansteys descendent from Richard de Anstey.
Well, our call was heard and we have now managed to obtain said pedigree, which contains some interesting medieval Anstey snippets which we will integrate into our existing medieval Anstey knowledge in the fourth edition of ‘ANSTEY: Our True Surname Origin and Shared Medieval Ancestry‘ , due to be published next year, subject to demand.
