The Witheridge Ansteys are a very complex sub-branch, with some members being part of the Tiverton Ansteys (and thus form part of the South West Peninsula Ansteys) and others forming part of the Chulmleigh Ansteys (an ‘Anstey evolved from Anstis’ sub-branch).
We have begun to map the pedigree of the Witheridge Ansteys and we are actively on the lookout for anybody who is willing to add their specialist knowledge of the Witheridge Ansteys to this Anstey story project.
