The St Gluvias Ansteys of Cornwall are an ‘Anstey evolved from Anstis‘ sub-branch. Hence they are originally part of the ‘Anstis’ family, and thus do not connect to the wider Anstey pedigree descendent from Hubert de Anstey.
We have begun to map the pedigree of this sub-branch and we are actively on the lookout for anybody who is willing to add their specialist knowledge of the St Gluvias Ansteys to this Anstey story project.
