We have begun to map the pedigrees of the various ‘Anstey’, Ansty’, ‘Anstee’ and ‘Anstie’ families who temporarily (or very occasionally permanently) made Bristol their home. These families do not form a single sub-branch, but hail from various other ‘Anstey’, Ansty’, ‘Anstee’ and ‘Anstie’ sub-branches.
We are actively on the lookout for anybody who is willing to add their specialist knowledge of the Bristol Ansteys to this Anstey story project.
