Two Ernest Anstey World War One Heroes

We have uploaded to the World War One Roll of Honour biographies of Ernest Anstey (b 1885) and his nephew Ernest Anstey (b 1891), both of the St Luke Holborn Ansteys. Both ‘Ernests’ served in the Royal Fusiliers, one becoming a Sergeant and the other a Private, however we know nothing else about either of their war stories, and thus appeal to our army of super-sleuth armchair researchers for their help.

Anybody who has information which could help us in this regard, or if they would like to add to either biography, please contact us at research@theansteystory.com.

Anybody who has researched their Anstey ancestors’ wartime heroics and wishes for their findings to be uploaded to the Anstey story project website, feel free to contact us.
