We have uploaded to the World War One Roll of Honour a biography of Frank Anstey of the Coventry Ansteys, who was called up for active service with the 1st Battalion of the Warwickshire Royal Horse Artillery as a Gunner right at the outbreak of war, making him part of the first Territorial Force artillery unit to go overseas on active service, in October 1914.
Anybody who has information they would like to add to this biography, please contact us at research@theansteystory.com.
Anybody who has researched their Anstey ancestors’ wartime heroics and wishes for their findings to be uploaded to the Anstey story project website, feel free to contact us.
