Henry James Anstey Mohmand Campaign Hero

We have uploaded to the pre-World War One and  World War One Rolls of Honour a biography of Henry James Anstey of the Bradninch Ansteys, a professional soldier with the Somerset Light Infantry who fought in the Mohmand Campaign in 1897; the latter stages of the guerrilla war phase of the Second Boer War in 1902; and the Battle of Loos on the Western Front at the end of September 1915 during World War One.

Anybody who has information they would like to add to this biography, please contact us at research@theansteystory.com.

Anybody who has researched their Anstey ancestors’ wartime heroics and wishes for their findings to be uploaded to the Anstey story project website, feel free to contact us.
