Frederick Charles Anstey World War One Hero

We have uploaded to the World War One Roll of Honour a biography of Frederick Charles Anstey of the Exminster Ansteys, who served as a Private with both the 2nd and 3rd Battalions of the (Princess Charlotte of Wales) Royal Berkshire Regiment on the Western Front in France. He probably took part in operations to follow the Germans in their retreat to the Hindenburg Line in March 1917.

Anybody who has information they would like to add to this biography, please contact us at research@theansteystory.com.

Anybody who has researched their Anstey ancestors’ wartime heroics and wishes for their findings to be uploaded to the Anstey story project website, feel free to contact us.
