Ernest John Anstee World War One Hero

We have uploaded to the World War One Roll of Honour a biography of Ernest John Anstee of the Barnet Anstees, who served in India from 7 December 1880 until 8 November 1888. He then re-enlisted at the outbreak of World War One, at first with the Hendon Battalion National Reserve as a Sergeant, and then the Royal Defence Corps.

Anybody who has information they would like to add to this biography please contact us at research@theansteystory.com.

Anybody who has researched their Anstey ancestors’ wartime heroics and wishes for their findings to be uploaded to the Anstey story project website, feel free to contact us.
