Albert Anstee World War One Hero

We have uploaded to the World War One Roll of Honour a biography of Albert Anstee of the Swanbourne Ansteys, who signed up for active service in Taunton as a Private in May 1917 and was posted to the 3rd Battalion Labour Corps and thence almost immediately to the 47th Training Reserve Battalion.

Anybody who has information they would like to add to this biography, or can help us with the couple of unresolved issues highlighted in his story, please contact us at research@theansteystory.com.

Anybody who has researched their Anstey ancestors’ wartime heroics and wishes for their findings to be uploaded to the Anstey story project website, feel free to contact us.
