Alexander Burgess Anstey World War One Hero

We have uploaded to the World War One Roll of Honour a biography of Alexander Burgess Anstey of the Chatham Ansteys, who signed up for service with the Royal Flying Corps in around November 1915, was “wounded in France with 48 Squadron (R. F. C.)“, and then died in a freak aeroplane accident whilst training in England in 1918.

Anybody who has information they would like to add to this biography please contact us at research@theansteystory.com.

Anybody who has researched their Anstey ancestors’ wartime heroics and wishes for their findings to be uploaded to the Anstey story project website, feel free to contact us.
