Hugh Austin Anstee World War One Hero

We have uploaded to the World War One Roll of Honour a biography of Hugh Austin Anstee of the Edlesborough Anstees, who signed up fairly early in the war as a ‘Sapper’ and served with the Royal Engineers; Army Service Corps; and the
65th Training Reserve Battalion.

Anybody who has information they would like to add to this biography, or can add details to our otherwise fairly sparse war story of Hugh, please contact us at research@theansteystory.com.

Anybody who has researched their Anstey ancestors’ wartime heroics and wishes for their findings to be uploaded to the Anstey story project website, feel free to contact us.
