William Henry Anstey War Hero

We have uploaded to the pre-World War One and World War One Rolls of Honour a biography of William Henry Anstey of the Dyrham Anstees, who not only served in India, but also fought in the Second Boer War (awarded the King’s South Africa Medal with clasps ‘South Africa 1901’ and ‘South Africa 1902’, as well as the Queen’s South Africa medal with clasps ‘Paardeberg‘; ‘Dreifontein‘; ‘Johannesburg‘; ‘Diamond Hill‘; ‘Wittebergen’; and ‘Relief of Kimberley‘) and fought in World War One.
