Thomas Cornelius Anstee World War One Hero

We have uploaded to the World War One Roll of Honour a biography of Thomas Cornelius Anstee of the Potsgrove Anstees, who emigrated to Canada and was bizarrely called up twice for service – firstly voluntarily with the 218th Overseas Battalion of the Canadian Expeditionary Force, and secondly under the Military Service Act 1917 with the 1st Depot Battalion and later 21st Canadian Reserve Battalion C. E. F.

Anybody who has information they would like to add to this biography please contact us at research@theansteystory.com.

Anybody who has researched their Anstey ancestors’ wartime heroics and wishes for their findings to be uploaded to the Anstey story project website, feel free to contact us.
