We have uploaded to the World War One Roll of Honour a biography of Frank Albert Anstie of the London, Ontario Ansties, who enlisted with the 7th Canadian Mounted Rifles early in the war then later embarked for France with the 4th Divisional Train of the CASC, before being “granted special leave to return to Canada on Compassionate Grounds” when two of his young children suddenly died of Scarlet Fever.
Anybody who has information they would like to add to this biography please contact us at research@theansteystory.com.
Anybody who has researched their Anstey ancestors’ wartime heroics and wishes for their findings to be uploaded to the Anstey story project website, feel free to contact us.
