We have uploaded to the Pre-World War One Roll of Honour a biography of Albert Anstey of the Tarrant Keyneston Anstys, who joined the Royal Navy as a ‘Stoker 2nd Class’ in 1870, and was serving on the ship ‘Bacchante‘ (alongside two of Queen Victoria’s grandchildren) when it was was “briefly of assistance in the First Boer War“.
