Albert Ernest Anstey World War One Hero

We have uploaded to the World War One Roll of Honour a biography of Albert Ernest Anstey, also known as Albert Edward Anstey, of the Bathealton Ansteys, who died of pneumonia right at the outset of war, in November 1914 in Dover. Some sources state that he served with the Expeditionary Forces in the months before this, though we seek confirmation of that.

Anybody who has information they would like to add to this biography, or can add details to the early months of Albert’s war story, please contact us at research@theansteystory.com.

Anybody who has researched their Anstey ancestors’ wartime heroics and wishes for their findings to be uploaded to the Anstey story project website, feel free to contact us.
