Robert Anstey World War One Hero

We have uploaded to the World War One Roll of Honour a biography of Robert Anstey of the Bathealton Ansteys, who signed up for active service in 1915 with the Royal Engineers as a Sapper and was later transferred to Inland Water Transport Corps of the Royal Engineers due to his skills as a boilermaker – he served in the ‘France’ Theatre of War.

Anybody who has information they would like to add to this biography please contact us at research@theansteystory.com.

Anybody who has researched their Anstey ancestors’ wartime heroics and wishes for their findings to be uploaded to the Anstey story project website, feel free to contact us.
