We have uploaded to the Pre-World War One Roll of Honour a biography of Herbert Anstey of the Coventry Ansteys, who joined the Army in 1893 and was still serving with the 13th Corps of Hussars at the time of the Second Boer War, for which he received the Queen’s South Africa medal with clasps ‘Orange Free State‘; ‘Transvaal‘; ‘Tugela Heights‘; and ‘Relief of Ladysmith‘, as well as the King’s South Africa medal with clasps ‘South Africa 1901‘ and ‘South Africa 1902‘.
