We have uploaded to the Pre-World War One and the World War One Rolls of Honour a biography of Herbert William Anstey of the Dyrham Ansteys, who signed up for full time service with the Army on his eighteenth birthday, and fought in the Second Boer War as a Gunner with ‘U’ Battery Royal Horse Artillery (being captured and taken Prisoner of War) as well as fighting throughout World War One with the British Expeditionary Forces and Royal Horse Artillery.
