We have uploaded to the World War One Roll of Honour a biography of Arthur Edward [aka Edwin] Anstee, a member of the Flamstead Anstees, who joined the Royal Army Medical Corps and “was drafted to Salonika and served on the Doiran and other Fronts. On cessation of hostilities he was attached to the Army in Constantinople until September 1919 when he was sent home and demobilised“.
Anybody who has information they would like to add to this biography please contact us at research@theansteystory.com.
Anybody who has researched their Anstey ancestors’ wartime heroics and wishes for their findings to be uploaded to the Anstey story project website, feel free to contact us.
