Arthur Anstee (b 1887) World War One Hero

We have uploaded to the World War One Roll of Honour a biography of Arthur Anstee of the Christchurch, Monmouthshire Anstees, who signed up fairly early in the conflict, either in 1914 or early 1915, and was posted to the Welsh Regiment as a Private, entering the Theatre of War ‘2b’ (Gallipoli, Dardanelles) on 9 August 1915.

Anybody who has information they would like to add to this biography, or can expand on the somewhat skeletal war story we currently have, please contact us at research@theansteystory.com.

Anybody who has researched their Anstey ancestors’ wartime heroics and wishes for their findings to be uploaded to the Anstey story project website, feel free to contact us.
