We have uploaded to the World War One Roll of Honour a biography of Arthur Anstee of the Market Harborough Anstees, who was posted to the Royal Garrison Artillery as a Gunner (Service Number: 348380) and was wounded in action in mid-1917, recovering enough to still be on active service at the end of the conflict.
Anybody who has information they would like to add to this biography, or can expand on the somewhat skeletal war story we currently have, please contact us at research@theansteystory.com.
Anybody who has researched their Anstey ancestors’ wartime heroics and wishes for their findings to be uploaded to the Anstey story project website, feel free to contact us.
