Arthur George Anstee World War One Hero

We have uploaded to the World War One Roll of Honour a biography of Arthur George Anstee of the Swanbourne Ansteys, who in December 1915 signed up for active service with the Royal Naval Air Service and was in April 1918 transferred into the newly formed Royal Air Force as a Corporal Mechanic, attached to the ship ‘HMS Riviera‘ in Malta.

Anybody who has information they would like to add to this biography please contact us at research@theansteystory.com.

Anybody who has researched their Anstey ancestors’ wartime heroics and wishes for their findings to be uploaded to the Anstey story project website, feel free to contact us.
