Alfred George Anstee World War One Hero

We have uploaded to the World War One Roll of Honour a biography of Alfred George Anstee of the Christchurch, Monmouthshire Anstees, who signed up for active service right at the outbreak of war and by September 1914 had already joined the British Expeditionary Forces in France. He served in France throughout the conflict, ending up with the “Army Service Corps H. T. 2nd Company No 2nd Reinforcement Training Camp [108th Battalion]“.

Anybody who has information they would like to add to this biography please contact us at research@theansteystory.com.

Anybody who has researched their Anstey ancestors’ wartime heroics and wishes for their findings to be uploaded to the Anstey story project website, feel free to contact us.
