We have uploaded to the World War One Roll of Honour a biography of Francis Henry Anstey, known as Frank, of the Bradninch Ansteys, who joined the Royal Naval Air Service (Service Number: F49190) in the final year of the conflict, then on 1 April 1918, whilst working at Crystal Palace, he was transferred to the newly formed Royal Air Force (Service Number: 249190) at Tregantle as an ‘Air Mechanic 3’.
