Albert Francis Anstey World War One Hero

We have uploaded to the World War One Roll of Honour a biography of Albert Francis Anstey of the Kennford Ansteys, who enlisted for service just over a year after the commencement of war, serving with the Army Service Corps as a Private (Mechanical Transport – Service Number: DM2/137663), and later transferred to the 1/5th Royal Warwickshire Regiment as a Private (Service Number: 33283).

Anybody who has information they would like to add to this biography, or can fill in the gaps of Albert’s war story, please contact us at research@theansteystory.com.

Anybody who has researched their Anstey ancestors’ wartime heroics and wishes for their findings to be uploaded to the Anstey story project website, feel free to contact us.
