We have uploaded to the World War One Roll of Honour a biography of Charles Rich Anstey, also known as Charles Richard Anstey, of the Washfield Ansteys, who joined the ‘Post Office Rifles’ as a Rifleman, serving with them in France in 1917 and likely being wounded during the Capture of Wurst Farm on 20 September 1917, part of the Third Battle of Ypres.
