Arthur Richard Anstee World War One Hero

We have uploaded to the World War One Roll of Honour a biography of Arthur Richard Anstee, sometimes known as Richard, of the Potsgrove Anstees, who volunteered for service very early on in the conflict, probably in late 1914, enlisting (as Richard) with the Leicestershire Regiment as a Private (Service Numbers: 3666 and 200925), and was still serving with them in 1918.

Anybody who has information they would like to add to this biography please contact us at research@theansteystory.com.

Anybody who has researched their Anstey ancestors’ wartime heroics and wishes for their findings to be uploaded to the Anstey story project website, feel free to contact us.
