We have uploaded to the World War One Roll of Honour a biography of George William Anstey of the Dyrham Ansteys, who was called up for service in the final year of the conflict, on 17 July 1918 with the Royal Air Force as a Private (Service Number: 180728), serving with “C. D. D.” from 17 July 1918 to 21 September 1918, at which point he was transferred to “8 C Wg” and then “1 C W” a month later.
