A few months ago we put out a request for anybody to go to the National Archives and “obtain details of a 1657 Warwickshire case “Ansty v Ansty plaintiffs Joseph Ansty and others defendants Mary Ansty and others” which is very likely pertaining to the early Hampton in Arden sub-branch“. Well many thanks to Mike James (a Hampton in Arden Anstey descendant) for doing just that and helping in its transcription.
