Basically there are three types of ‘Anstey’, Ansty’, ‘Anstee’ and ‘Anstie’s in Cornwall, being:

• Those who connect to the South West Peninsula Anstey pedigree;
• Those who are ‘Ansteys evolved from other surnames‘; and
• Those who connect to other ‘Anstey’, Ansty’, ‘Anstee’ and ‘Anstie’ sub-branches, and subsequently moved to Cornwall for whatever reason.

Thus far, ‘Anstey’, Ansty’, ‘Anstee’ and ‘Anstie’s in Cornwall where we have begun to upload information are:

• Ansteys Evolved from other Surnames:
  • St Gluvias Ansteys
