Robert Alexander Carnegie Anstey World War One Hero

We have uploaded to the World War One Roll of Honour a biography of Robert Alexander Carnegie Anstey of the Bampton Ansteys, who saw service with the 3rd Battalion of the King’s African Rifles, based in Kenya, almost certainly fighting in the Battle of Lioma in Mozambique in August 1918. Anybody who has information they would like to add to this biography, please contact us at research@theansteystory.com.

Anybody who has researched their Anstey ancestors’ wartime heroics in World War One and wishes for their findings to be uploaded to the Anstey story project website, feel free to contact us.
