George Anstey (1896-1918) World War One Hero

We have uploaded to the World War One Roll of Honour a biography of George Anstey of the Kennford Ansteys, who signed up for active service in November 1915 with the Army Service Corps, was compulsorily drafted into the 1st Battalion of the Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derby Regiment) in October 1917 and died fighting in the Third Battle of the Aisne on 27 May 1918.
