Clifford Ivor Anstee World War One Hero

We have uploaded to the World War One Roll of Honour a biography of Clifford Ivor Anstee of the Christchurch, Monmouthshire Anstees who, because of his age, was unable to enlist until the final few weeks of the conflict, joining the Royal Air Force as a Private (Service Number: 184075) on 8 October 1918, posted to unit “CDD” and then “8 CW” as a Transport Driver, until he was demobilised on 5 January 1919.

Anybody who has information they would like to add to this biography please contact us at research@theansteystory.com.

Anybody who has researched their Anstey ancestors’ wartime heroics and wishes for their findings to be uploaded to the Anstey story project website, feel free to contact us.
